These STEM programs offer 3rd through 8th-grade students hands-on science experiences in the classroom or at home. These lessons are designed to target multiple Next Generation Science Standards and fuel your students’ innovation!
3 Virtual Lessons, 2 video lessons and hands-on science kits
This program includes virtual classroom visits and hands-on science kits developed by the America’s Car Museum education team that explore the principles of energy and design. Museum educators will facilitate engaging hands-on activities for your students and will provide supplemental videos to further explore the various concepts covered during the live sessions.
2 Virtual Lessons, 1 video lesson and hands-on science kits
This program includes virtual classroom visits and hands-on design challenge kits developed by the America’s Car Museum education team that explore the basics of force and motion. Museum educators will deliver virtual lessons and facilitate two fun hands-on activities, including a spin on the classic egg drop challenge.
Virtual Lesson, virtual gallery tour and hands-on science kits
This program introduces students to biofuels and other alternative energy sources. Museum educators will deliver one virtual classroom visit, guide students as they complete a fermentation experiment and balloon-powered car design challenge, and provide a virtual mini-tour of our Powering the Future learning lab.
