Educator workshops

Come see how the world of automobiles opens doors to learning. Each Educator Workshop will provide an in-depth look at curriculum for your classroom (K-12) to create meaningful connections for students. Earn clock hours as you tailor lessons to meet the needs of your students and walk away with materials to immediately implement in your school.

PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES!

Saturday, November 8th, 2025 | 9AM - 3PM


LeMay - America's Car Museum, The Museum of Flight, and the Northwest Railway Museum present a very special Full STEAM Ahead: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!, bringing you creative new ways to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics into your classroom. Educators from the museums will provide engaging, hands-on workshops for both primary and secondary teachers, offering lesson plans and supplementary materials for educators to utilize in their own classrooms.


Registration includes lunch, cross-curricular lesson plans, parking and admission to each museum. Participation in the program qualifies for 5 STEM clock hours. 


Registration fees:

Early Bird Rate (Before Sept. 8): $55

Regular Rate: $65



PROGRAM SCHEDULE

9 am:  Event Begins

9 – 10 am: Registration/Introductions and Keynote

10 - 10:15 am: Break

10:15 – 11:30 am: Session 1

11:30 - 11:45 am: Break

11:45 am – 1 pm: Session 1

1 – 1:30 pm:  Lunch (provided) & Gallery Exploration

1:30 – 2:45 pm: Session 3

2:45 – 3 pm: Wrap-up Discussion & Closing Remarks

3 pm:  Event Concludes


* Please note that refunds cannot be issued following the close of program registration. In order to receive a refund prior to the close of registration, all cancellations must be made in writing.
